THE MAIN COFFEES THAT MAKE UP THE BLEND

Brasil Fazenda Recanto

Fazenda Recanto is located in Machado, south of Minas Gerais, a region that enjoys a mild climate, with average temperatures around 22°C; the plantation is managed by the Magalhães Paiva family, who over the years have received numerous awards for the quality of their coffees, such as the recent victory in the Rainforest Alliance competition. We love the coffees from Fazenda because they bring unmistakable notes of dried fruit and hazelnut to the blend.

India Attikan Estate

Attikan Estate is located in the south-east of India, on the mountainous slopes of Karnataka; the combination of rich soil and temperate climate make the area perfect for growing high-quality coffee, producing some of the finest coffees in the country. We are fortunate to partner with this beautiful estate as their coffee adds to the aromatic complexity of the blend, bringing a unique fusion of chocolatey and spicy aromas to the cup.

Indonesia Flores Bajawa

The coffee is grown in small family-run plantations on the fertile and shaded volcanic slopes of the Bajawa plateau, on the Indonesian island of Flores, Ngada district, between 1200 and 1800 meters above sea level. The producers are brought together in the Bajawa cooperative to improve their working conditions, study the best agricultural techniques and promote the environmental sustainability of production. We are truly happy with this sweet and full-bodied coffee which, thanks to the exclusive “wet-hulled” processing method, brings to the blend an elegant taste and a floral bouquet with hints of aromatic herbs, dark chocolate, caramel and vanilla.

Santo Domingo Finca Ramirez

Founded in 1943 by Belarminio Ramírez, the plantation is located in the scenic La Vega region and is currently managed by Julio Ramirez and his family; with its environmental conservation policy and sustainable agricultural practices, the plantation is committed to a more respectful and responsible future. We are thrilled with this coffee, which brings nuances of nuts such as almond and hazelnut to the blend, enhancing the elegance of milk chocolate in the finish.

Tanzania Kagera

This intense coffee is grown in the Kagera region of Tanzania, by many small and medium producers who deliver it to the Karagwe washing station, a leader in the processing of Robusta coffee in the region. Founded in 1999 and certified by the Tanzania Coffee Board, the station, which takes care of the entire green coffee processing chain in the area, aims to improve coffee production by supporting farmers with constant training and offering them a remuneration that guarantees a decent standard of living. We are happy to use this enveloping coffee because it gives the blend body, character and a particular aftertaste of ripe cherry and spices.
